WHO I AM: I guide organizations to make breakthroughs benefitting those with CNS (neurologic and psychiatric) disorders and other chronic diseases. I have uniquely broad experience in Global Healthcare and Business Development, encompassing pharmaceutical-biotech, academic medicine, and non-profit sectors. I combine a strong clinical/scientific background, a keen ability to translate healthcare complexities to diverse audiences, and a true passion for what I do.THE PATH I’VE TRAVELED: I began my professional life as a neuropsychologist at a large academic medical center, where I was a founder of an internationally-recognized “bench-to-bedside” multiple sclerosis (MS) program and a proponent of collaboration – across disciplines and with patient advocacy organizations.Next I entered the pharmaceutical industry – top 10 pharma at first, then a Japanese company entering CNS. Overseeing Medical Affairs scientific strategy, I learned the complexities of launching products in the heavily regulated pharma industry. To enhance the company’s nascent CNS pipeline, I moved to Global Licensing & Business Development, absorbing the nuances of crafting mutually beneficial partnerships with pharma, biotech, and academia in an ever-changing environment.WHAT I OFFER: Traveling this path, I often found myself serving as a translator – sharing insights from patient advocacy and professional organizations with pharmaceutical colleagues, or educating biotechs and academics about pharma perspectives. I leverage this expertise to benefit organizations committed to making breakthroughs that fundamentally improve the lives of those affected by CNS and other chronic diseases.SPECIALTIES: Pharmaceutical-Biotech | Academic Medicine | Patient Advocacy | Neurologic & Psychiatric Disorders | Neuropsychological Assessment | Composite Outcomes | Digital Health | Strategy | Drug Development | Business Development | Due Diligence | In-licensing | Out-licensing | Strategic Alliances
