Time for a little update.. it’s now 30 years (eek!)in my own business as a 'forced entrepreneur' and being a Barnsley girl whose dad worked 'down the pit' and mum at the local Coop (Wombwell) I am delighted to 'live to tell the tale!' and share the experience on the basis of 'If I Can you Can' Our original business (mine and my husband's, Andy Hanselman) grew to 15, we sold it several years ago and after a short break I found my dream job linking entrepreneurs with schools. Something I am still passionate about. Go find a school and support them. Our young people need you. We have a super organisation in Sheffield called See it, Be it and they can help you to do this! From that evolved an 'Entrepreneur Only' network, which brought me back to working with Andy and we are now in Year 20 (more gulps!) of Andy Hanselman ConsultingSo what do we do? Well we love helping businesses and leaders to grow and develop, we are passionate about bringing people together, to share experiences, ideas and connections. Oh yes connections, I love connecting too. And how do we do it? Well we work directly with organisations, big ones, we've helped set up and run internal Leadership Academies and smaller ones, we love a fast growth business where the owners are wanting to 'let go'/invest in their management team.We develop and deliver open programmes. Our ALP programme (Accelerating Leadership Potential) has helped lots of bright, talented, stars step up to senior/director/partner and in a couple of cases take over the business! Yippee, we love it. We can also customise this programme 'in house' too.I should also add that Andy is now doing more and more speaking work, he s pretty darned good at it too! Team away days, conferences, strategic sessions, sales he loves them all. (I particularly like the overseas ones that I get to tag along to!) We run learning networks, bringing together forward thinking entrepreneurs+leaders, One of them, 3D Connect is based on our book (yes really, Barnsley girl writes book!) 'Thinking in 3D' which is about being Dramatically +Demonstrably Different. It's packed full of examples of organisations doing really cool things.We write, we blog, we visit great businesses, we meet super people, we listen to stunning leaders, we read lots, we watch lots and we're constantly curious.. we then share it with our clients.Oh just discovered..I had told you about Andy’s speaking stuff.Perhaps a bit of repetition won’t hurt!Andy speaks at Conferences + events. He's pretty awesome and get's fab reviews. I don't write them.Honest!
