As an Account Executive at Business Wire I am working to maintain and build relationships with current clients and also to foster new business relationships. I provide value to clients with support and take a consultative approach to ensure that they are getting the most out of our products and services.

As a CSR at Business Wire I provide client support as well as support to the sales team. As the first line of defense for clients I am here to help create new accounts, answer questions clients may have about our products and services and act as a liason between Business Wire and our community.

As Nella Media Group's first ever intern I worked on a variety of projects for the young media company, most notably their publication, Chinatown Newspaper. Chinatown newspaper is a grass roots monthly publication. The paper that started as 8 pages in Honolulu's Chinatown is now a 12 page publication with papers is Honolulu, Portland Oregon and just launched is San Francisco. I also worked closely with the editor of Innov8 Magazine, an in-flight mag for go! airlines of Hawaii, on copy editing and writing as Copy Editor and then as Assistant Editor. The magazine featured amazing visual images and travel writing.

Oceanit is a science and engineering company devoted to innovative thinking. The internship consisted largely of internet research and keeping the information organized. Aided the marketing department to launch a telecommuting experiment in order to find the most advantageous solution for working efficiently away from the desk.
