I am a Molecular Biologist with extensive research experience in large companies, small companies and academia. I have worn many hats (bench scientist, principle investigator, manager of multiple teams) and moved through multiple disciplines (from making transgenic plants to seeking therapeutics and biomarkers in oncology and infectious diseases). I have discovered that, regardless of the goal, dedicated management of the project is a key element that allows any project to flourish. Because I am a scientist, I specialize in a scientific management that is different from business driven project management; I believe my position helps all investigators get the most from their data with emphasis on moving forward with meaningful findings. Currently I co-manage multidisciplinary projects that require the coordination of large and distant research and clinical teams. My role is to keep the momentum going, to make sure data are analyzed and acted upon, that goals are accomplished and secondary steps taken based on the information gathered. I am data driven, goal directed and timeline sensitive; I enjoy working with people.
