I have 19 years of experience in the nuclear power field working on Naval propulsion plants. I am an organized and self-motivated individual who has excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a great work ethic which allows me to easily be trained and to be adaptable to different working environments. With my time in the Navy, I gained knowledge in operational safety, preventative maintenance, supervisory skills, operation and maintaining mechanical systems.I have in-depth experience with several different reactor designs, have experience on both submarine and aircraft carrier steam plants, diesel generator operation and maintenance, quality assurance programs and have 3rd year apprentice level knowledge in operation of lathes and mills for machining processes. I also have extensive training in human relations as a certified career counselor, a financial specialist, and providing mentorship to others has been a cornerstone of my career for 15 of the last 19 years. I will be retiring from the US Navy in October of 2022.My personal hobbies include reading, cooking, hanging out with my family.
