Jim leads a staff of Real Estate Managers and Property Negotiators who are responsible for acquiring and rezoning real estate development sites, easements, rights of way, managing public and First Nations consultations and disposing of the Province's surplus properties throughout BC.Professional BackgroundJim has over 39 years experience in commercial real estate. Before moving to the West Coast in 1993, Jim was licensed in real estate sales in the Province of Alberta. Since Jim began his real estate career he has completed transactions in practically every specialty area of the industry, including sales of high-rise office buildings, multi-family, industrial properties, courthouses, prisons and other government buildings.CCIM and Professional Affiliation ExperienceJim received his CCIM designation with the first Canadian graduating class in 1982. He is active in the Western Canada CCIM Chapter as a past president and current Education Chair. He currently serves as Regional Vice-President of Canada and sits on the CCIM Board of Directors.Instructional BackgroundJim has been an active CCIM instructor since he received his designation in 1982.
