The Executive Director (ED) has the primary responsibility of providing leadership to their community department heads and drive business excellence. The ED is responsible for all areas of operation including financial management, resident census growth and satisfaction, employee development, workplace culture, meeting regulatory and company requirements, and achieving monthly and annual budget goals. The Executive Director is responsible for the development of the department directors to elevate them to a high-level performance so that they can sustainably execute company mission, vision, and specialized program standards. Spearheading the development of a company-wide internship program.Serve as an expert in evaluating potential new markets for expansion and assisted living communities for procurement.

KSLA is the only Kentucky association exclusively dedicated to supporting those who operate professionally managed, resident-centered, senior living communities, and the older adults and families they serve.KSLA Provider members operate senior living communities offering licensed personal care homes, certified assisted living communities, memory care, independent living and continuing care retirement communities providing services to older adults and their families. Since 1999, KSLA has advocated for choice, independence, dignity, and quality of life for all older adults. KSLA is the Kentucky state partner for Argentum.

Represent the interests of Senior Living communities to the State of KY.

He is a a strategist, consultant and implementer planning and directing all administrative, financial, and operational activities for the organization's CEO. As Chief of Staff Jim has input on the company's strategies, direction and focus offering input to the CEO on a daily basis.

LifeCenters is a Development firm that acquires and entitles land, selects an operator and builder, raises equity and oversees operations until exit when occupancy goals are reached. It is building the next generation of senior living for the US Market. The SR VP of Operations is responsible for ensuring all processes are on time and on budget. ● Establish and supervise systems and tools to track production and budget.● Provide oversight for operator ensuring operational standards are being met.● Serve as policy & execution expert on senior living operational matters. ● Provide research and analysis for potential new markets.● Assist in identifying, qualifying and recruiting and potential equity investors. ● Advise on design and operations impact of differentiating features for seniors 2.0 design.

Responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of this not-for-profit community, including serving as the sales & marketing leader. Plans, implements, and evaluates all aspects of operations. Recruits and trains team members, has direct supervisory responsibility for team members. Maintains high customer satisfaction and ensures a quality-oriented workforce. Leads the development and implementation of all sales and operations strategies and tactics for the community. Negotiate and manage outside contractor agreements, bids and subsequent work for major community repairs and upgrades. Provide oversight for budget development, execution, and capital planning. Oversee extensive preventive maintenance program. Liaison to agencies such as Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services, OSHA, City Health Department and Fire Marshal. Active in all aspects of the sales process including community outreach programs, continual development of referral relationships, conducting tours, follow ups and lease signings. Meet with residents and families to perform initial and ongoing assessments as well as addressing resident issues as they arise. Conduct Chapel services on Sunday.

Market and sell medical equipment throughout the United States. Recruit, train and manage independent sales representatives. Seek out and identify potential profitable technologies then work with Chinese manufacturing companies to negotiate manufacturing contracts and import skin care equipment into the Unites States.

Established new jungle resort in a third world country. Worked with local authorities to understand and meet criteria for permitting, government operational ordinances, immigration, environmental impact considerations, labor laws, tax laws and more. Developed and implemented Sales & Marketing Plan. Built and marketed websites and social media platforms. Negotiated contracts to handle recurring tour groups traveling through Central America.
