I’m a designer experienced in working with multidisciplinary teams to create and communicate about physical and digital products that respond to human needs. Working at IDEO in Tokyo, I’ve led innovation projects in industries including health and wellbeing, automotive, and consumer electronics. Prior to IDEO, I led the communications design team at London-based ROLI, a music / technology startup. There I helped define the experience of an array of experimental musical instruments while designing brand assets that made highly designed, future-looking products feel accessible to many types of audiences.With a background in graphic design, 3D rendering, programming, photography, and journalism, I believe in the power of making. Through experimenting with tangible digital and physical artifacts, I help teams create products, services, and experiences that connect with people’s unmet needs. I excel at telling stories about these products and services that connect with both stakeholders and users. I enjoy finding fun, innovative, and joyful ways to experiment towards design outcomes, and I’m always eager to bring new technologies and practices into my work.
