I have been in a Sales Director position for over 20 years. I ensure alignment with corporate direction, vision, mission, principles, strategies and goals. I worked with various teams to improve processes and efficiencies. I exhibit unquestioned integrity ensuring effective employee development through coaching and championing change as well as supporting creativity and innovation.I have led my teams through many challenges including compensation changes, rebranding our company, adoption to CRM, Power BI, multiple executive leadership changes, 7 total acquisitions our company acquired and fascinatingly, I transitioned 2 acquisitions to our company in 2 years. My greatest joy was derived from 4 salespeople that trusted me enough over 15 years, they became tenured team members that executed go to market plans efficiently and 2 became sales executives of the year. Of the 11 local divisions, our division was the largest accounting for $9,000,000 in revenue each year derived from “rural” markets across the United States.My role was to influence the local markets. The national brands allowed us to open new markets as the company anchors, while the local division is what makes the markets profitable. Mspark has over 79 different brands actively participating in our program. By understanding the importance of the relationship between the franchisee and franchisor, meeting both of their needs, and maintaining the brand standards these brands found my team easy with which to work. We partnered with franchises like Ashley Furniture, Papa Johns, Little Caesars, Dunkin, Biggby Coffee, Ace Hardware, etc.For over 500 individual customers, their experience with my team included comprehensive annual business reviews, competitive blunting strategies, market analysis, customer retention strategies, new customer acquisition costs, COOP funding, and strategizing with our customers to protect existing market share. We used consumer analytics to help the franchises identify their local market opportunity and created a marketing program to achieve their goals. All our sales efforts were process driven, purposeful and with the customer needs driving our recommendations. This was part of our strategic planning to obtain, protect and grow market share. I enjoyed the journey, the people I partnered with, and grateful that I grew so much! Now I look forward to seeing what the future looks like as I navigate through my next opportunity.
