I am a professional stand-up comedian and a regular on the stand-up circuit. My debut Edinburgh Fringe solo show 'Jim Daly: Football And Fatherhood' was awarded 4-stars by Mervyn Stutter's Pick of the Fringe in 2022, making it one of the best 200 shows out of 3,000+ that year at the festival.I have been doing standup comedy since 2012 and has performed around the UK, including at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival twice and alongside acts like Jon Richardson, Doc Brown, Holly Walsh, Reginald D Hunter and more. I was a Fosters Golden Jester semi-finalist in 2013 and 2014.I have also MCed Chesham Comedy Club numerous times, The Proms at St Judes comedy night in 2018 and 2019 and hosted the Main Stage at Buryfields Festival 2016.

I started and host Crystal Palace FC's biggest podcast and one of the UK's most downloaded independent club football podcasts, from the fanzine I launched in 2003 while at university.In 11 years the podcast has grown from a few hundred listeners to more than 6,000 downloads each week, which makes it one of the UK's most popular fan-run independent sports podcasts.
