Jim is presently busy as the Chief Knowledge Officer for Advanced Medical Pricing Solutions, a nationally known cost containment company providing services to the healthcare payers. He was formerly the VP of Acquisitions and Integration for PrimeHealth Holdings, Inc. where he co-authored the business plan for the company and identified acquisition targets. Jim led the successful completion of due diligence and valuations resulting in definitive purchase agreements for the initial purchases and acquisition targets.More recently, it was his pleasure to assist a TPA owner and an interested buyer as they navigated the process of valuation, negotiation, and a completed Purchase and Sale Agreement.Jim is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in health management, planning, technology, and process improvement. He has held a number of senior leadership positions with managed care companies such as United HealthCare, FamilyPlus HMO, and MedAdmin Solutions, Inc. While at United HealthCare of Georgia, he was the Director of Health Care Evaluation/Economics and had responsibility for plan-wide performance evaluation and process improvement. Additionally, Jim has an extensive consulting background that includes engagements with AmeriChoice HMO, Medicare Secure Choice HMO, Pharmaceutical Care Management, Inc., the Georgia Medical Care Foundation, and the Emory University School of Public Health.Jim earned his undergraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Mercer University and a Masters in Health Management and Planning from Emory University.
