I was the senior BP shipping representative in the Americas and ran an assurance team which covered everything from Offshore marine support LNG transportation, all barging activities for both upstream and downstream, crisis and continuity management and government and industry affairs.

Managed BP's owned and operated fleet of vessels which included, VLCC's, Aframax's, MR's, LNGC's, VLGC's and a North Sea Shuttle tanker.

Worked in the gas group providing advice for the development of the LNG FPSO being developed. Also provided support and guidance for the development of the Floating LNG hose and various types of mooring systems for offshore application.

Kure, Japan And Angola

Integrated into the project team to create an operating team in the yard to support the construction and commissioning of the LPG FPSO Sanha. I also took the lead in several commissioning activities and developed the tow plan for the unit to site. Followed the vessel to Singapore and Cape Town before rejoining her in Angola for start up. I led the start up.

Monaco/Sakhalin

Responsible for operating the OKHA for Sakhalin energy. My role was to ensure high uptime and reliability from the unit maximising production for the year. I was responsible for managing the start and end of each ice season, selecting the optimum time when the SALM Buoy system could be raised to the surface and when it should be lowered back to the seabed..
