Cross Environmental Services, Inc. (CES) is a full service environmental contracting firm that has specific focus in asbestos abatement, lead remediation, mold abatement, interior demolition, and full scale structural demolition.My role at CES includes overseeing the general day to day operation of the business, to include technical review of projects, bidding and procuring work, assisting with sales and marketing, and facilitating the regulatory elements of the business. I oversee all of the Federal proposals as well as all of the teaming agreements. This would include all relationships with 8(a), Service Connected Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, HubZone, Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Business, and others. My function in this arena is to facilitate relationships that can be utilized on a repetitive basis and to develop business with the Federal Government that is a restricted bid or no bid environment. Relationships developed have translated into millions of dollars worth of projects, including 17 phases of military housing demolition at Eglin Air Force Base, twenty four phases of asbestos abatement in military housing at Eglin, Black Tower Site Demolition for the NPS, a gold mine clean up for BLM, clean up of multiple dump sites in Nevada and Louisiana, asbestos abatement on Midway Atoll, and multiple other Federal projects. In addition to the Federal proposals, I am also responsible for writing all of our major proposals to private clients. Recent customers include Corvias Military Housing. Barton Malow (Daytona Rising Project), Highway Boulevard, LLC and many others.Generally, my focus has been business development as well as office management duties. In the front office, Until recently I supervised a staff of six and make sure that the day to day operation of the office duties are carried out. Additionally i was responsible for supervising and facilitating our litigation which has mostly been centered around collections.
