Madrid CPWG was formed from a merger of two successful companies in 2019, but our roots are much deeper - back to our startup in 1992. Our combined strengths give us the unique ability to tackle a wide range of infrastructure and environmental challenges for our clients. Above all, we are AT THE READY We are a FDOT DBE/SBE consultant, prequalified in engineering, surveying/mapping, landscape architecture, and CEI (construction engineering inspection). We are also a MBE (Hispanic) certified firm by both the Florida Office of Supplier Diversity and the FSMSDC.
Our experience over the past 27 years includes over 10,000 projects throughout Florida. Our clients include Government (national, state, county, municipal) and private enterprise, with specialties in the transportation, water/wastewater, and energy sectors. We pride ourselves in working with contractors, owners, regulators and the general public equally well, with excellent communication as a cornerstone of our relationships.
Madrid CPWG is the US Technical Representative for CONSOLID, a chemical stabilization system for increasing strength and reducing capillarity in road bases. This process has been used worldwide and is a cost-effective method to reduce maintenance and increase reliability of roads and highways.
Madrid CPWG is also an award-winning firm: 2014, 2016 and 2018 Projects of the Year as awarded by the Ridge Branch of ASCE, and we also have three ASCE or FES Engineers of the Year on our staff. Larry Madrid is nationally recognized as a Diplomate of Geotechnical Engineering. Our CEI staff are CTQP certified for FDOT projects, and consistently perform well in their positions.
