Jim has over 25 years of experience in senior finance and compliance positions in a mix of leading 2nd tier Chartered Accounting firms and commercial enterprises including ASX Listed Public companies and unlisted private ventures across multiple industry segments. As head of finance and directorship roles he takes a hands-on leadership approach in building and delivering the compliance and reporting requirements of management, shareholders, government and financial institutions. Jim targets his extensive understanding and expertise in critical financial disciplines towards emerging growth companies to ensure they are ready for the next essential growth phase, with his most recent directorship/CFO role achieving a 25%-30% pa growth rate over 5 years ($35m-$160m pa). Working closely with the executive team as a key value-add participant he ensures there is a sound compliance and reporting platform operating to facilitate increased focus on commercial, operational, and strategic matters.Jim’s commercial and client experience includes large, listed corporations (Capital intensive projects, consumables and manufacturing), unlisted public corporations and privately owned enterprises with both domestic international focuses. Key industry segments include Renewables (Solar and Energy Storage), Mining, Rail, Manufacturing & Construction, Agriculture & forestry, E- commerce and Tourism & Accommodation.Jim is a Chartered Accountant of 28 years and holds a Bachelor of Business degree majoring in Accounting and Finance from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. He has worked both in Australia and the United Kingdom.
