I have spent 40 years as a regulatory lawyer for major banks and for the Federal Reserve System. That work has included a full range of US bank regulatory law, advice on corporate governance, litigation, compliance and capital issues. I have been the Chair of the Banking Law Committee of the American Bar Association and that Committee's Subcommittee on Law School Teaching. I am also a director of Morgan Stanley Bank, N.A. I have taught banking law for various ABA courses and as an adjunct professor at the University of California at Berkeley, Boston University and Catholic University. I have taught general business law as a full time professor at Pennsylvania State University's School of Business. I currently direct a masters of law program in Banking and Financial Law at Boston University.
