I have successfully started, bought, and sold numerous businesses throughout my professional career. My experiences in both start-up and integration environments have contributed to my ability to drive success and strong financial results in any climate. Because of that background. I have been invited to join the Acoustic Research Systems (ARS) team as Chief Strategic Officer (CSO). In this role I will look to expand our reach in the Environmental and Acoustic testing realm of the aerospace industry. Acoustic Research Systems (ARS) created the first purpose built, turn-key solution for ultra-high output acoustic launch simulation. The NEUTRON system is a scalable, full-bandwidth, ultra-high output acoustic system designed from the ground up specifically to support customers who require direct field acoustic testing, reverberant chamber augmentation, or creative solutions to their unique acoustic testing problems. ARS is currently working with some of the top names in the aerospace industry both in the US and Europe and around the world. It is an exciting time to be in the space industry.I am an avid traveler with many of my close friends traveling the world, and I am always looking for that next adventure. Past trips include Running with Bulls in Pamplona Spain, Seeing the Northern Lights 200 miles above the Arctic Circle in Tromso, Norway, Riding a camel and camping with a Berber tribe in the Sahara Desert, attending Octoberfest in Munich, Staying where Mozart stayed in Prague, New Year's Eve in Bangkok, visiting Angor Wat in Cambodia, Whale Watching in Iceland and Norway, St. Patty's Day in Dublin, Kissing the Blarney Stone, Canal boat rides in Amsterdam, visiting Dracula's Castle in Transylvania plus many other trips to cities such as Paris, London, Hanoi, Marrakech, Barcelona, Madrid, and Bucharest. I can't wait for the next trip!!! I started a Non-Profit called The WV Visionary Group www.wvforward.org . WVVG focuses on mentoring high school students through a series of lessons called The Habits of Heroes which focuses on emotional intelligence and mindfulness. Teaching the soft skills that are not being taught in schools today. The impact on the kids that have gone through the program has been incredible. Some of these same lessons are being taught to our corporate clients with great results. I am also a Rotarian and have been very involved with my local Rotary Club, where I was a past President. I am also a three-time Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary and have hosted an exchange student from Bolivia through The Rotary Exchange program.
