USACE Hangar Renovation project at Scott AFB. Maintaining Quality and Safety standards as required by the USACE.

Asst. Superintendent/Alternate QCM and SSHO-$30 million Commissary project at Fort Riley. -Daily interaction with USACE. Superintendent duties: scheduling of sub-contractors, project supervision, daily QC and HSE duties. -QCS/RMS experienced.-EM385-1-1

Chief Building Inspector/Construction Quality Control• Building Inspections – Conduct structural, mechanical and plumbing inspections and verify code compliance. Plan review and issue permits for new commercial buildings and residential homes. Make note of “as built” drawings and work closely with contractors schedules for all inspections. Do all field inspections for structural, plumbing and mechanical codes using the 2006 international codes.• Septic Field Inspections- Independently conducting septic inspections and reviewing drawings to meet specifications for 150 square Mile County. Draw up “as built” drawing on Auto Cad for future reference. Code Enforcement

Chief Building Inspector/Construction Quality Control• Review approved commercial plans. Inspect all commercial and residential buildings- including HVAC with an annual construction cost of $43 million• Review residential plans, check plot plans, zoning regulations, and issue permits.• Maintain records of all inspections and document satisfactory completion of work. Maintain files of drawings & reports including addendum’s to projects.• Schedule inspections and answer questions with Contractors.

• Interior build-outs for office spaces, dry wall, install fire separations, various tile work• New home construction from footers to shingles. Except mechanical.• Addition’s to homes• Help maintain positive atmosphere with customers and employees.

• Received extensive training in the building principals used by the Navy Seabees which is the premier engineering and construction battalion of the military, consistently exhibiting a “can do” attitude towards all projects. • Graduated 3rd in class from Navy Builder Carpenter “A” school. Maintained 3.8-4.0 evaluations for 5 years. Nearly perfect.• Crew leader of 8 army reservists and projects serving as leader. Consistently working with the Army Corps. Of Engineers on complex, fast paced, building projects. • Special detachment to Guadalcanal for 50 yr. WWII reunion. Repairing the local school, and first-aid building.• Chosen for other detachments such as Camp David and Edzel, Scotland.• Twenty-month tour performing maintenance of the Naval Air Station base in Adak, Alaska.
