The LHPWG operates under the auspices of the Consumer Specialty Products Association, Inc., and provides a unified voice for companies engaged in the unique market of lawn and horticultural products. Established in 2013, the LHPWG serves as a resource to all government entities engaged in regulating the specialty fertilizer market. We have submitted written comments on proposed rules at the federal, state and local level. On February 27, 2015 we submitted comments to EPA Region 1 on their proposed NPDES MS4 Permit for small municipalities. The LHPWG also supported or opposed newly introduced legislation in a number of states. The AERF submitted comments to the EPA and the ACOE on the newly proposed definition for "Waters of the United States" on behalf of AERF These comments can be found on AERF's website.
