I worked in many areas of Naval Engineering during my career in the Navy and attended numerous schools. I have worked in many areas in the Mental Health field since my retirement from the Navy, including treatment of Mental Health disorders, AOD use/abuse and Sex Offender treatment. I served 6 months as a Town Councilman and 2 elected terms as Mayor of Del Norte, CO. I am active in supporting veteran's causes and assisting veterans in need as the former Region 5 Regional Representative of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA) and former Commanding Officer of CVMA Texas Chapter 23-1. I have, in the past, co-facilitated a CEU class on Military Culture at the University of Texas at Arlington in the PTSD certificate program. I served five years on the Board of Directors for Victory Therapy Center in Roanoke, TX, with my last position being board Secretary. I spend my time now taking 4 wheeling trips with friends, working on their cars, trucks and UTVs and working events at the Texas Motorplex.
