I like high fives, low fives, and the ones you do behind your back. I started the Bikesmith with a truck and a dream. My dream was to provide reasonably-priced and convenient expert repair for the city of Memphis. The truck allowed me to meet people at their homes and businesses and to service neighborhoods without a local bike shop. The business has expanded to a brick and mortar with beautiful new and used bikes, accessories, and --like the truck-- provides expert repair services. I do what all small business owners do (work from dawn to dusk trying to make something awesome). My focus is just on bikes. The Memphis cycling community is growing and becoming more inclusive and awesome. We have slick racers, mountain bikers, Greenline loopers, commuters, bike polo players (with and without broken bones), and any other type of riders you can imagine. I even saw 2 unicyclists ride the 24 hour St. Jude Ride last year. I provide expert repair, bikes, and accessories for all these riders, so Memphis riders and cycling community can just keep getting better.
