  • Timber Ridge
    Past President
    Timber Ridge 2004 - 2006
The Timber Ridge Townhome and Condo complex had a large timber retaining wall that was beyond its' lifespan. As the owner's representative (i.e. Association President), I oversaw the bidding and construction of the replacement retaining wall. This required coordination between two different associations, the Master Association and the Condo Association. A routine engineering inspection revealed that a subcontractor to the primary contractor was not building the wall properly, and I was tasked with requiring the subcontractor to substantially rebuild a large portion of the wall to meet the engineer's specifications. The retaining wall project was a painful process for the residents, but it was successful nonetheless and will insure the structural stability of the surrounding structures for many, many years.
