Firmware Quality Program Manager/Product Quality Lead, November 2004 - August 2010: Manage the product quality for all Deskjet products, and the quality verification for the Print Asset for all ICS Products leading a team of six Quality Engineers. Responsible for declaration of product development milestones and ensuring product exceeds all quality requirements for release. Created new testing process to test full product solution as an integrated unit (hardware, firmware, software). Managing test areas with two outsource vendors, one on-site and one off-shore. Responsible for managing all aspects of firmware quality testing including status updates to the program team, quality dashboards, and working directly with the firmware engineers to find and fix defects. Identify any omissions, and arranging for testing to fill the gaps, with testing organizations in multiple locations, including India and China. Planned and managed the Harmony Plug Fest events. Created the compatibility test matrixes and acted as the moderator/manager for the events.Compatibility Engineer, January 2003 – November 2004: TCE Lead for Compatibility- CIP Created, managed, and communicated TCE Roadmaps for CIP. Acted as champion of compatibility issues into programs teams and partner organizations. Harmony Core Team member. Planned and managed the Harmony Plug Fest events. Wrote the test plans, procedures, final reports for each event, and acted as the moderator/manager for the events.Software Quality Engineer, March 2001 – January 2003: Responsible for the planning and management of Customer Simulated Experience Evaluations for the QA department at VPP. Planned for and successfully managed multiple projects, including both internal and external testing. Represented the team’s findings and concerns at Defect Review and Program Team meetings. Assisted in the planning of several Plug Fest events and wrote portions of the test plan, procedures, and final reports of each event.
