Hi! Jim Champer here. I have over 20 years of public accounting experience, with a primary concentration in corporate, partnership, nonprofit, fiduciary, and individual taxation. My experience also includes service at the University of Notre Dame in the role of fund manager of charitable, simple and complex trusts. As a senior tax manager at Kruggel Lawton CPAs, I've helped my clients in a variety of ways, including: -Planning and research of tax issues related to organizational structure options in acquiring and selling businesses, including analyzing various elections.-Represent clients before IRS, state and local taxing authorities related to compliance audits and appeals.-Perform research for tax issues and planning issues related to tax return preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary and nonprofit entities.I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. Outside of the office, my wife and I enjoy spending time with our 16 grandchildren with the first great grandchild on the way although I am way to young to accept that fact. I also enjoy cooking for family barbecues in the summer. I am an avid golfer and love passing my skills and knowledge down to my grandchildren and youth attending local junior camps.
