Mile by Mile: Buffalo is a running and photographic project about Buffalo, NY. It captures what is seen when you run the full length of every street in the city limits. It started January 1st and ended when I crossed the finish line at the Buffalo Marathon on May 29th. It was featured in print media: Buffalo Rising, Buffalo Trek and The Public. WKBW Channel 7 did two features on the project with one making it onto the national broadcast. The city of Buffalo honored the project by having May 29, 2016 be designated as "Jim Cielencki" Day in the city. On October 20, 2016, I opened TEDXBuffalo with a talk about the project.

We helped create Buffalo’s first skatepark in LaSalle Park which opened in the summer of 2013.
