While a Practice Leader and Office Manager of DKS' Sacramento office I continued to serve clients in the fields of transportation planning and traffic engineering with specialization in infill and transit-oriented-development, planning and design of complete streets, innovative parking solutions for urban environments, transit stations and station area planning, revitalization of downtown's and aging retail centers, developing defensible impact fees, and the development entitlement process. Throughout my 25-year career, I have always emphasized integration of transportation and land use at all scales, and use the principles of Context Sensitive Solutions to build community support for sustainable urban development.

I took a few months to explore the feasibility of a web-based service that would provide data visualization and technical documentation for the transportation engineering, urban planning, environmental, and land development industries, as well as for municipalities and other government agencies. The mission of "urban-integration" is to document the technical aspects of a wide variety of projects with comprehensive, understandable, and accurate data using visual media including photography, illustration, 3-D modeling, graphing, visual inventorying, mapping, and other graphical techniques to support the documentation requirements for defensible analyses and projects.

Develop 'complete streets' policies, programs and standards for public agencies. Develop station area plans for development oriented around rail and Bus Rapid Transit. Prepare environmental assessments for urban infill and transit-oriented development. Manage multi-disciplinary teams to develop urban thoroughfare streetscapes from concept to final engineering. Assist Arup's Buildings and Infrastructure practices in final design and implementation of projects.
