I started my career right at the top: with Howard Stern in NYC with Sirius XM. I joined as an intern just as he made his legendary transition from terrestrial to satellite. Within a few months, my content and productions were being heard by millions of his fans. As a lifelong listener, it was a dream come true. 🙌After 6 years at Sirius XM, I moved to Germany knowing only two words: “nein” and “Schnitzel”. The next 8 months I took intensive language courses and was finally able to ask strangers, “Wo ist die Toilette?”, without breaking a sweat. 😅Within 1 year of learning the language, I managed to get my own weekly national column with Deutschlandfunk Nova, part of the news radio institution Deutschlandradio based in Köln and Berlin. For someone whose English grammar is atrocious, having a radio spot in German was truly astounding! 👍Then while vacationing in South Africa, I drove the Garden Route listening to this amazing, off-the-wall guy on 5FM. On a whim, I shot him an email. A few months later I found myself flying down to Johannesburg to help Gareth Cliff and his team launch CliffCentral.com. 7 years later and his show is still the #1 podcast in SA. 👌Coming back to Berlin, I was inspired to produce my own English language podcast where I got to interview the likes of Pulitzer Prize winning author David E Hoffman, former UFC Champion Rich Franklin, and legendary mountaineer Cecilie Skog. 💪🏻Next I began writing for Buzzfeed GmbH in Berlin. Incredibly my very second post went viral. After Tasty posted it on their Facebook page, it was shared over 3600x’s, with nearly 14,000 comments totaling over 1.3 million page impressions!! 👏But my true passion is voice overs where I’ve been fortunate enough to work with such brands as Hessischer Rundfunk, the SoulWorker web anime series, and Amparo Prosthetics. 👈I live for my audience, love meeting new people and am a world class brainstormer who loves to collaborate.
