Dreams of becoming a "Top Gun" fighter pilot led me to the United States Naval Academy and the honor of serving our country. Midshipmen are challenged and developed morally, mentally and physically. In the crucible of that experience, my discipline and dedication to duty were purified. When myopia charted a different course for my career, I discovered a new passion. I was named Top Engineer of my Surface Warfare Officer School class. I discovered my love for learning and teaching. After serving at sea with distinction, I returned to be recognized by the Navy as a Master Training Specialist.I have been blessed to work with and learn from many extremely talented individuals.
