$1.8 million company in 2014 with 10 locations and 2 home pick-up and delivery routes in addition to serving 15 area hotels. 63 year old company with 40 employeesAs President of LaMode Cleaners:• Doubled company revenues at a time that the dry cleaning industry, as a whole, experienced significant decline, resulting in as much as 33% of dry cleaners going out of business over the past 10 years• Began serving Tulsa’s largest hotels in 2003 and grew that segment of the business to 15 area hotels including virtually all of the major hotels in town• Initiated home pick-up and delivery service in 2011. Grew that area of the business to its current level of over 500 customers with annual revenue of $350K +• As needed, dictated by the economy and changing neighborhood demographics, opened new stores in thriving areas while closing stores in declining neighborhoods• Founded the “Spread the Warmth” blanket drive in 2004. This community project, in conjunction with News Channel 8 and Volunteers of America/Oklahoma has resulted in over 30,000 blankets being collected and cleaned and returned to Tulsa area shelters and homeless people in need
