As the Director of Recruitment & Admissions I provide leadership for and manage the Admissions and Recruitment Service areas. I plan, develop and administer strategic new-student enrollment management efforts, outreach, recruitment programs, and admission services for new students.-Maintain responsibility for efficient and effective operations and ensure Admissions and Recruitment initiatives comply with SSCC policy and performance expectations and are aligned with strategic goals.-Implement innovative recruitment and retention strategies . -Promote College programs and disseminate appropriate information.-Network with community agencies, organizations, adult education programs and employers to coordinate and facilitate resource fairs, information sessions and campus connections.-Manage and evaluates recruitment, admissions, and enrollment services processes and data within the college, including the student inquiry database, client relationships management software and database, and other communication processes with prospective and current students.-Serve as the point person for College Credit Plus (CCP) Initiative. Point of contact for high school personnel. Oversee CCP activities such as the scheduling of presentations at high schools, information nights, visits, PowerPoint presentations, troubleshoots issues through to resolution.-Collaborate with the Director of Student Success to coordinate outreach efforts at local high schools including: placement testing, information nights, career and academic advising services, and orientation.-Plan and facilitate new student orientation. Coordinate information and order supplies and materials to be provided. Schedule rooms at each campus. Develop orientation brochure. Conduct reminder call to students. Input orientation information into student information system. Complete orientation follow-up.

As an Admissions Recruiter I worked to support the enrollment efforts of the college by providing admissions information to prospective or newly admitted students, creating communication materials, and by representing the college at onsite locations such as high schools and other colleges.• Communicated with prospective students, parents and community through appointment, telephone, email and other materials. • Assisted with the development of enrollment marketing publications and communications including letters, brochures, website postings, electronic mail and other mediums. • Presented information about the benefits of an education from the department, college or area being represented at onsite locations and to on-campus visitors. • Fostered and developed relationships with schools or other areas being recruited from. • Compiled recruitment data from academic records. • Audited student data and conducts statistical research to target population for recruitment and judge recruitment effectiveness. • Coordinated recruitment programs such as on-campus events, orientations, group tours, individual tours, and program presentations.
