Responsible (development, test, maintenance) for different applications used for handling and analyzing LIDAR data files. For example, hyper spectral images and ESRI Shapefiles are used by the system in order to perform forest segmentation and another part of the system handles retouching of LAS files. The programming languages used are IDL, C and C++.

Worked as troubleshooter in a maintenance section, as well as a software developer at the Ericsson BSC node.

Work title: Blood vessel segmentation using the Level Setmethod and local phase estimation.Developed a new method for blood vessel segmentation in medical images. Part of the work was published in [Pattern Recognition Letters, September 20, 2009] and in [Proceedings of 19th International Conference on Pattern Recognition, December 8, 2008] and won an award for Best Scientific Paper.
