I work with boards and committees to oversee their organization’s executive compensation program. For me, the most rewarding part of this work is developing relationships with the people - getting to know them personally, seeing them grow as compensation committee members, and watching them take ownership of the organization’s philosophy and compensation program. My job is to give them advice along the way – using data, market experience, and organization-specific knowledge as context – to make informed decisions that make sense for their organization.I mostly spend my time with tax-exempt organizations, although I’ve worked with tax-exempt/not-for-profits and for-profit companies over the years.
