My responsibilities include the development of fundraising, branding and community awareness for the work of the Northwest Suburban Special Education Organization (NSSEO).These efforts are to sustain the Mission of NSSEO: NSSEO seeks to build and strengthen home/school/community partnerships to enable students with special needs to become contributing members of society.

I collaborate with other professionals in the community to raise the awareness of Robert Morris University in our community. Further, we provide guidance towards new partnership opportunities to show the value and commitment of Robert Morris University for their education and career placement success.

As Director of Business Development, I help guide businesses to understand their identity and how to project that image in business networking opportunities. Similarly, when presenting themselves to their customers, projection of a clear focused message can capture customer interest and have them act on a relevant 'call to action'. I share my experience as a teacher, business owner and business consultant to help entrepreneurs navigate and create a business personality that resonates with their clients.

CAM Services assist businesses to bridge and grow industry supplier relationships, teach proven ways to improve their financial, purchasing, and operational procedures, and prepare them for future expansion or acquisitions.

My role as Advisory Board member is to represent a section of our Arlington Heights community and provide input to Village Bank for continuing their strong presence as a community partner. We, as a board, make recommendations towards community needs and continuing education in addition to helping spread the word on the opportunities Village Bank offers to all residents.

Business Liason for the American Cancer Society to create awareness of Navigation Services and other services available for business owners, their staff and their customers. Member of the Mens Health Task Force helping to educate the values of good health and through cancer prevention initiatives.

CEO managing Purchasing, Personnel, Logistics and Sales for a 55+ year old family owned business in Arlington Heights, Il. Successfully grew this Northwest Suburban Chicago floral business by increasing sales over 300% with a philosophy of 'never say no' customer service, expanding our wedding division to over 180 events a year, and managing superior personnel in an 'accordian' style schedule technique that built strong loyalty with customers and staff alike. Product was procured from all over the world weekly by creating a wholesale division while developing logistics for handling consumer deliveries to all of Chicago and over 200 surrounding suburbs. During my tenure, staff size began at 7 and grew to 49 to accomodate the increased volume and expanded divisions. Annual national flower shop rankings placed us as highas TOP 100 among 30,000 florist for volume of outgoing orders.

Worked as a team with Finances, Events and Policies

I developed a wholesale flower division to complement our existing retail operation. This included opening business relationships with growers internationally, developing logistics, and creating a alternative approach to bringing fresh product to retail flower shops in the Chicago Northwest Suburban Region.

Taught math and science as well as counseling and team sports

I was a Junior High Teacher focusing on Math and Reading. Working with a diverse population of students honed my skills in teaching good citizenship, creating new adventures for my students, and providing a bridge towards teamwork and community service.
