As the VP of Innovation at BlackStrap my focuses are on NA Trade Marketing, Global Merchandising Management & Retailer Training & Resource Development.BlackStrap is a 4-Season Mountain lifestyle brand and we are present at a wide range of Trade Shows including small regional shows, buying group shows and larger national show activations. Working along side our Sales Team I manage Strategy, Booth Devo/build & Run of Show for these shows.Global Merchandising is a new lane of focus at BlackStrap and I am working with our Sales/Marketing Teams, regional sales reps, global distributors & retail partners worldwide to develop, design, implement and benchmark our visual presence at retail worldwide. With direct Management of our Visual Retail Marketing, POP & Display development along with packaging standards we are amplifying the presentation of our Brand & products at retail.With year of first hand experience working retail floors there is no individual more influential to promote your brand & sell your products than the Retail Managers & Associates on the floor. Pairing incentives with unique ways to educate associates on our culture, brand, products, standards & outlook is one of my favorite things to do and we have seen a direct impact from these efforts.

As the VP of Marketing & Brand at BlackStrap our focus was laying the foundational operations and workflow that defined BlackStrap's brand, image & outlook across numerous industries and retail categories. Along with the talents in our Art, Marketing & Creative Departments we were able to keep BlackStrap true to our small mountain town roots, while setting the industry standard for product function, fashion and innovation.

As BlackStrap's Brand Manager, and 1st employee, I worked to lay the foundation for Retail / Wholesale product presentation, Brand development, logo & graphic development, company operations for in house departments including Art, Marketing, Manufacturing, Product R&D.As one of Bend Oregon's last operationally invested outdoor brands (Office, Merch, Manufacturing Warehouse, Worldwide Distribution) I am proud to have had a hand in defining the culture & ethos that has kept BlackStrap as a staple in our home town and at the forefront of product, retail presence & innovation within multiple Industries, outlets & markets worldwide.

Visit Bend (much like our city) is a very dynamic organization. We work to bring people to Bend through events, marketing and economic development. I work in various aspects of our organizations operations including: With our Marketing Director, research work, data entry for economic impact surveys, develop/manage multiple social media outlets as well as produce video content. While working with our sports development manager I have bee more on the event planning and PR side of things, aiding with logistical operations for large events (Cyclocross Nationals). I regularly work in our visitor center with the Operations Manager at Visit Bend, here I meet, greet and aide visitors of Bend with info, directions and recommendations for activities, I essentially "sell Bend" and all it has to offer.
