Jim is the Managing Partner of Royal Pacific Consulting Group (“RPCG”). RPCG specializes in supporting aviation companies in the start-up, re-organization and growth stage of their development.

Jim conducts about 60 pilot flight tests per year with a designation from Transport Canada. Holds an Airline Transport Pilot Licence endorsed for the Boeing 747(200/300/400), Fokker FK-28, CRJ-200 (CL65) and Beech 1900, a Class One Instructor Rating, with 11,500 hours of flight experience.

Jim Scott was the Vice President of Flight Operations for Central Mountain Air (CMA), and a line captain. With a fleet of 25 aircraft, including the Beech 1900D, the Dornier 328, and the Dash 8 -100/300/400 (Q400), CMA provides scheduled air service in British Columbia and Alberta, but is best known as one of Canada’s largest charter operations. CMA has bases in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Smithers, Kelowna, and Prince George.
