As a former high school recruit and with two sons who went through the recruiting process as athletes out of Northern Virginia I've learned a lot about the process over many years. A lot has changed. My boys have had wonderful experiences as players and students but as important was the financial aid/package they received while in attendance. Don't miss what's available to your athlete while doing this the first time. If you're not big time D1 (and less likely to be found) please make yourself and your talents available to ALL programs and realize the dollars available to you from every division!
