Located in multiple locations in the US and India, the development and QE teams fully conducted the full Software Development Lifecycle from inception, development, quality engineering, and finally to level three customer support.

Oversaw the security & compliance role for the overall Business Unit during product development life cycle. Incepted product line and build the engineering team in the Bay Area to deeply integrate with vSphere/ESX in order to supply RSA technology into the datacenter. In particular, this was a deep integration of the Data Loss Prevention Product line into to the core of the vCenter Networking & Security product line providing the underpinning of the security for virtual servers and desktops.

Involved in many of the deep technical aspects of current and future product development, assisted trouble shooting in some of the largest customer deployments. Wrote early prototypes for security products to help in vetting product line decisions.

Tablus was acquired by RSA / EMCFounded a typical garage startup in the bay area to pursue a new data classification company in security for Data Loss Prevention. Going from literally nothing to a ~150 person company in about 5 years was a truly substantial experience. Everything from original Venture pitch books to writing a code base from scratch was definition of "wear many hats" in the startup environment. Successfully exited by sale to RSA in 2007.
