Leading training and global capacity building programmes for more than 2 decades. • 22 years of working experiences in international development and capacity building for developing countries in the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR), accumulated a certain amount of knowledge and experiences in non-timber forest product development, rural sustainable development, as well as related policy-making and strategy identification. • 16 years of experience in communication and publication support. • Led more than 60 international seminars and training programmes in China and overseas targeting senior-level officials, chief scientists from national governments and international agencies, business leaders and developers, total number of international participants exceeded 2500, from 82 countries all over the world, total impacted people around the world is estimated to be over 1 million.• Presently managing capacity building programmes for INBAR member countries related with climate change, poverty alleviation and conservation and rehabilitation of ecology using bamboo and rattan. • Recently co-authored the book "Sustainable Bamboo Development" published by CABI (Centre for Agriculture and Biosciences International) in February 2018.• A member of ISO/TC 296/WG 3 "Bamboo Charcoal".• Member of the Expert Committee of the Yunnan Association of Bamboo and Rattan Industries. • Master's in Journalism from the Peking University and Bachelor's in English Literature from the University of International Studies in Beijing.
