My current aspiration that fuels me to this day stems from my experience as a victim of crime from my University days. An experience, that I do not want others to go through. This is a goal that I'm working towards, to be able to protect the public. Being analytical in nature has eventually lead me to be a part of SAS which has helped to expand my understanding of analytics. I started off my career here by being exposed to analytics in various industries (e.g. Government, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Energy & Utilities) across the APAC region. Among all of the major areas of analytics that I've worked in, nothing resonated more to me than Fraud & Security Intelligence. With experience starting from brainstorming solutions around automated risk-based border control, to eventually developing integrated systems for demonstration purposes in the areas of financial crimes intelligence and most recently implementing an end-to-end system for both real-time fraud management as well as digital forensics I have begun to locally lead discussions around fraud & security intelligence with customers in Malaysia. All this, both to help protect the public and for the eventual goal to be a part of the team that protects the public.
