At Zand Bank, I have contributed well in architecting and establishing the data lake, data warehouse, and reporting platform from the scratch. I also supported the BI Team in the development of the self-BI platform in Power BI with separate data marts using Multidimensional cubes. I led the building of the FTP engine from scratch enabling the bank to calculate FTP and NIM (Net Interest Margin) in granular level from the very first day. My major role includes providing improved BI to inform the management leadership team, especially finance, treasury, risk and operations, and performing data transformation and data warehousing for new enhancements and projects. I also support data engineers for the ETL development and maintenance.Amongst my accomplishments in this role so far include conceptualizing and leading the implementation of the FTP project at a PAN bank level. I have been pivotal in developing 5 methodologies namely Straight-term (contractual maturity), Redemption (Behavioural profile like core and non-core), Cashflow Weighted Term, Moving Average, and As-at-rate. I develop and maintain data marts for different departments, build more than 150 reports and dashboards for the various stakeholders for their regular usage, and deliver insights to the business , finance and the ALCO committee. I have managed various projects – Finance Pack, ALM & ALCO Pack, GL vs Client Reconciliation (Actual & Average Balance, Interest, Fees, Cashflow, VAT), Operational and Control Reports, data points for IFRS 9 and Capital computation Engine, AML, Compliance and Live Dashboard for CEO.

At CBD, I worked directly with the Senior Manager BI in driving end-to-end BI strategy. I collaborated with users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery, gathered business requirements, and delivered standard reporting and analysis. I was majorly involved in Management Reporting, Reconciliations (Actual, Average, Interest and Fees and VAT), Regulatory Reporting (BRF) and AECB reporting.Additionally, I was involved in the re-segmentation for budget analysis and developed reporting platform for PCM (Payment and Cash Management) and calculation of RWA and ROE by developing a new reporting platform. I also managed an RM Workbench project aimed at evaluating the performance of each Relationship Manager and enabling them to manage the portfolio easily. I worked under BICC (Business Intelligence Competency Center) and Finance Department.
