This was a ten bedded mini hospital like system with a Medical Officer, Counselor, nurses, outreach workers, an accountant, a cook and a janitor. Project Coordinator led all activities. Ours was one of the very few CCCs that were run through a Community Based Organization (CBO).Major Accomplishments:๏ƒž We were able systematize the work at the CCC and further raise its ranking from C to B and then to A grade, with a well-coordinated contribution of all functionaries at the centre.๏ƒž The centre achieved a 10 to 40 percent improvement in most of the performance indicators including bed utilization, opportunistic infection treatment, counseling services provided and Lost to Follow Up (LFU) track back.
