I came from ๐๐ฑ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ฒ in Nepal. I suffered many ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ๐ฌ and ๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฒ. I received an ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง where almost no-one ever did in my village. I navigated the United States ๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง process. I have seen ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ with receiving a PhD and ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ก in becoming a successful scientist and tomato breeder. But, nothing means more to me than my ๐
๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ."I walk a walk where people live just to produce enough food, to cover the body, and to have a roof over the head, where there is no expectation beyond the bread. Death passed by me several times at a razor-thin margin. I hit the dead end to each road of my destination. It was never clear whether I should stop, yield or detour; I had to discover the best action on my own. I never quit walking; every single time, a new way out showed up that was not known before. Every time I stumbled on my way, I learned valuable lessons. I was born in a remote hill of Nepal and raised by a single mom with extreme poverty. Just to give a sense to you, I got my first full pants while I was in Grade 4 and first pair of shoes while I went to grade 7. I saw a bus for the first time while I was in 9th grade. When I left that life behind to pursue my dreams, I soon learned that the "other" world was just as demanding. I faced a different type of hardship and challenge. A genuine desire from the heart can overcome any difficulties in the way of life.My hope is to bring attention to the conditions of other poor children in Nepal who come from homes of single mothers.
