Purchasing & Industrialization for R&D.• Ensure all new products are designed with the highest level of DFx input.1) Design For manufacture, assembly, test, cost, etc. (Industrialization).• Manage/control product/process related costs on New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.1) Manage cost analysis of designed parts and advise on possible cost reductions.2) To work with purchasing and suppliers to analyse and reduce costs.• Represent Production Facilities to Engineering and, Engineering to Production Facilities duringeach NPI life cycle – i.e.:1) Represent Manufacturing on NPI project teams.2) Represent Engineering when liaising with Manufacturing.• Ensure manufacturing input is presented to Engineering and the project team(s) early in the NPIlife cycle.• Manage all NPI builds with the manufacturing facilities (prototype and volume production);1) Ensuring all build data (BoMs, Assembly Instructions, etc.) is supplied in advance.2) Co-ordinating manufacturing build reviews and publishing feedback to Engineering and the project team.3) Providing technical build support to production facilities – generally on site.

 Responsible for Machining commodity , Purchased Sub assembly commodity & Surface treatment commodity. Leading Localization projects & Value Engineering projects for division. Identify & develop alternate sources for cost reduction & de-bottlenecking. Do the Need analysis, market survey for responsible commodities & make commodity strategy. Make annual purchasing contracts with supplier to ensure uninterrupted supply. Moniter purchasing KPI such as Productivity , ESSR , DPME, Supplier Orientation Chart. Working knowledge of SAP.
