Hi! My name is Jitendra Patel, and I am 28 years old. In this piece, I would like to take you through my journey as a business enthusiast.During my final semester, I collaborated with a classmate to establish a manufacturing and trading business for smart agricultural tools. In 2018, we launched our own private limited company and relocated to Indore, where I served as a Director.As the Director, I successfully executed a diverse range of responsibilities, including developing innovative packaging solutions, managing digital marketing efforts, handling accounts, dispatch, labor arrangements, creating and executing Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring compliance with GST regulations, and more. I spent one year working at this company, honing my skills and gaining valuable insights into the workings of a successful organization. Unfortunately, due to some technical reasons, I had to resign from my role. Upon returning to my hometown of Jabalpur, I began working for my elder brother's construction business as a site supervisor, managing administrative tasks. Additionally, I launched my own arecanut cutting business, which thrived under my leadership.However, due to the ongoing pandemic and resulting lockdowns, I had to close my business. During this challenging time, one company reached out to me, expressing interest in collaborating with me on a project inJabalpur.In pursuit of providing accessible food to all while minimizing agro wastage and increasing the income of farmers, I became captivated by the business idea of Vam Agro Processing. I joined the company, which is now located at MPIDC Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, and have been with the organization since February 2021. Officially inaugurated on October 1st of the same year, the company launched an expansion project in 2022, which was completed in 2023. Consequently, the company is now in full operation, taking pride in its commercial production.Currently, I hold the position of Operations Manager in the factory, having gained ample knowledge and skills during the construction phase and the period that preceded it. Among several other valuable lessons, I learned how to acquire a plot from MPIDC, construct a food processing industry while strictly adhering to industry norms and guidelines, procure necessary construction materials, and ensure project completion within the allotted timeline. Additionally, I gained expertise in machinery setup,Transformer powertransmission,LTpanel and cabling work setting up an earthing pit etc. etc.all of which contributed to my professional growth.
