Responsibilities and Achievements:Visiting client’s projects, sketching existing property and collecting all needed dimensions such as room sizes, floor to floor dimensions, staircase dimension, joist layouts and overall layout.Converting the sketches to digital copies using AutoCAD Architecture.Designing a proposed layout for the client.Drawing existing and proposed layouts of the project in AutoCAD Architecture.Holding meetings with the client, explaining the proposed designs and collecting feedback.Adding final details to the drawings such as joist layouts, locations of rain water pipes, soil vent pipes, manholes, dimensions and positions of structural beams and loading plates.Creating section drawing s of building indicating, stairwell, wall insulation, foundation, roof insulationCreating a Building Regulation and Building Calculation which would be sent to the council for approval. Liaising with the council on further information they may need such as landscape information.Proof reading the calculation with the building regulation to make sure there are no errors in one another.

Lead client meetings, gathering information on the client’s needs for a sign and suggesting methods which would best meet there needs.Modified existing fixing methods to make best use of the client’s space such as adapting a nut a bolt fixing so that the fitting could be secure yet invisible to people viewing the signs.Created new innovative ways of displaying signsProduction consisted of manufacturing the signs using Rolland printers and Graphtec plotters.Worked with a number of different materials from foamex, diabond, correx to aluminium.
