As a community connections program facilitator, I will focus on building bridges between newcomers and hostcommunities, creating meaningful relationships and understanding among newcomers andCanadians, including Indigenous peoples, with the aim of creating a welcoming environment,enhancing a sense of belonging, social cohesion, employment readiness, and informal languagelearning. I am in charge of delivering a variety of workshops and information sessions focused onthe social, cultural and civic integration, engagement and advancement for newcomers toCanada. It also includes developing curriculum, tools and resources that support newcomers todevelop the skills, knowledge, confidence and connections they need to play a strong, activerole in civic life.

- Participated and represented Amway India in all events and rountables on Direct Selling conducted by Industrial bodies in South India. - As part of Stakeholder engagement, represented Amway India Enterprises for Mysore Dusshera along with the Police Department and the State Government. Conducted awareness programmes and distributed safety measures and placed saftey measure hoardings for the downfall of more than 1 million.- Engaged in Partnerships and Leveraging Industry Associations to maximize the Advocacy with State Governments- As a part of Government affairs and Connecting with Government departments, interacted with Police Department heads of all the South Indian states and arranged meetings for the Senior Management of Amway India.

- As the first Centre Manager of the chain of Clinics, I created a Work flow for the Day Care.- Overall Management of the Elder Care Clinic was carried out effectively. Recieved appreciation from many visitors.- Arranged and Conducted Townhall meetings for the staff and Management. - Prepared Budgets and executed the Financial management of the centre.- Conducted Marketing activities in the centre and local level marketing events to boost the sales and to create more memberships for the centre.- Supervised Clinical team and Operations staff according to Key Performance Indicators.

- Worked in the Special Developmental Projects- undertaking CSR activities across India and was funded by various Corporates including Coca Cola Foundation, Sabmiller, Asian paints etc.- Provided administrative support to the Water Management project team.- Liaised with various Government agencies, Departments, Universities, NGOs and Corporates. - Maintained accounts and MIS; prepared quarterly financial reports.- Apart from Admin Coordinator’s responsibilities, I also handled a CSR Project funded by Coca Cola Foundation, India, under which, I Managed farmers by giving trainings on good agricultural practices, water management for better yields of crops etc. Developed project proposals, and implemented Watershed Management projects, various rain water harvesting systems, rural drinking water and irrigation programs.

South India

- Worked as an Independent Social Consultant, for a CSR project funded by SABMiller India in South India- Conducted studies on water quality and agricultural pattern and water requirements of various crops in South India.- Studied the livelihood pattern of water users, treat and problems with water in the company proximity. - Managed Monitoring and Evaluation of the works of industries in relation to use of water resources.- The result of the study was used for expansion of the Company's water usage for product expansion in qauntity.

- Managed the project “Understanding the links between Environment, Livelihood and Governance in Wayanad, Kerala”-Facilitated Empowering women, farmers, children and youth with the knowledge about various environmental issues and climate change with media such as street plays, quiz competitions, videos etc.- Studied the impact of Climate Change and its effect on livelihood pattern of rural communities and farmers.- Raised funds for the projects in order of resource mobilisation. - Was in-charge of the breakfast program in 10 selected Tribal communities, where children under 5 years were given healthy protein rich nourishment. - Contacted different Govt. departments, local Governance bodies, as part of the project and data collection regarding the Governance, fund allocation, schemes etc. for farming community.-Conceptualised the Content writing for website, brochures and preparing reports.

- I was in-charge of project on “Successful Sustainable Agriculture Project” implemented in Wayanad and Alleppy districts of Kerala, South India.- Documented success stories of small scale farmers who used the technique of Organic farming in their homestead farms.

- An active project member from RASTA for the EU-TeleSupport project supported by ECCP (European Union India Cross Culture Programme) India.- Successfully made Documentary Films for the project and documented good practices in agriculture, as a part of Two-way Communication for Sustainable Development, it has been hosted in the Tele Support website (http://telesupport.org)
