About Jitske Posthumus

After working in supply chain operation in two roles at Unilever (via Yacht), I am currently broadening into (supply chain related) project management. I am exited to work on improving the PSI planning processes at Kyocera. I genuinely believe the S&OP / S&OE project will contribute to the company's success and enjoy the conceptual process design I get to do in this job, as well as the learning opportunities in the field of project management. I have very broad interests, which is why I chose the ATLAS University college as bachelor and why I taught next to pursuing a EngD degree. I find it motivating to combine engineering and application, which led to my master program Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) and PDEng afterwards. During my master I focused on the technical aspects of the program by following the Production Logistics and Management (PLM) track, and used electives to deepen my knowledge on Healthcare Logistics. Currently I am gaining more applied experience by participating in the Yacht traineeship, a three year rotational program with additional (professional) skills training. Besides problem solving and optimization I have a passion for dancing. I am an active salsa and ballroom dancer and have been part of the salsa instruction committee for the past years. I also participate in ballroom and latin tournaments.

As Project Manager S&OP I am responsible for the exploration, implementation, and documentation of PSI planning improvements. The improvements are divided over three projects: new PSI tool/software implementation, redefining and improving S&OP and S&OE processes, and allocation process design and software selection/implementation. Within these projects, we are designing and running several pilots to test and finetune new processes and communication lines. Managing these projects involves project planning, (conceptual) process design, and stakeholder consultation and communication in the form of interviews, presentations, organizing and leading workshops, and written communication and documentation.
