I am a Oscar nominated director and photographer with over 25 years of experience in the business. Additionally, as a founding partner of both Wildcard Productions and FoxDevil Films I have an in depth knowledge of production and running a production company. I have worked with major clients such as Guinness, Gillette, Bosch and Burger King, delivering quality work from high-end commercials to smaller innovative content. My core skills include working with talent, creating engaging narratives, making visually strong imagery and leading and supporting creative projects from conception to completion. I started my career in short films and TV and was nominated for an Oscar in the Live Action short film category as well as numerous other short film awards. After a stint on ITV’s ‘The Bill’ I switched across to advertising where my work won awards at Cannes, BTAA, and One show.My mission is to produce engaging and impactful films and stills that inspire, entertain and inform. I am exploring emerging forms of media and technology as well as working with stills. Recently i have been focusing on Portrait photography and embarked on a project celebrating the benefits of migration in the UK. Using my experience of lighting in film and working with actors i have found that I am uniquely positioned to not only engage with the subject but can create a filmic look whether it be using natural available light, flash or continuous light.In a marketing world that is evolving I'm still as excited by the traditional 30 second TVC as I am with the new media opportunities out there. I'm equally comfortable with a camera in my hand out there shooting solo as I am sat behind a monitor in the directors chair with a 50 man crew and 10 clients.
