James Jarvis is a vice president, Legal & Compliance for HealtheMed, Inc. In this capacity, he serves as the company’s general counsel on matters ranging from typical start-up business issues to more specific requirements of healthcare covered entities. As a public benefit company, Jarvis also leads an initiative to achieve its dual goals of a sustainable business for our owners and stakeholders, and also enhanced and measurable client and societal outcomes through the use and stewardship of public funding/resources (Medicaid and Medicare). In previous roles as an in-house public sector consultant and as an attorney – Jarvis has experience in advising and assisting government programs, enterprises, and entrepreneurs build business structures, ownership models, effective teams, development strategies and financial arrangements so innovative ideas can more effectively serve their constituents, clients and markets.
