I drove growth in audience size and engagement, doubling voluntary newsletter subscriptions in less than a year and pushed average monthly site users from 8,000 to 150,000 in less than five. I achieved this through the development, implementation, and management of the following:-Content partnership program: Increased new partnerships by 250% in 5 years by identifying, onboarding, and supporting content partners based on engagement and news cycles.-Original content program: Published 700+ journalistic articles connecting donors to grassroots organizers, social justice nonprofits, and philanthropy experts.-Special coverage program: Created 10 guides to help donors effectively and equitably respond to major crises and/or developing events (protests, elections, Supreme Court decisions, etc.).-Topic Guide program: Published 15+ issue-specific, data-driven reports, working with writers and graphic designers to create the final product. Used by several philanthropic advisors.I played an instrumental role in growing Giving Compass from a start-up to an established nonprofit with a range of content and tech-centered products. Since 2017, the organization has grown from 3 to 15 employees and spun out of its incubator, in part through my involvement in:-Helping transition from a series of interim CEOs to more stable leadership by participating in the identification, recruitment, evaluation, hiring, and onboarding of the current CEO, two vice presidents and a creative director, in addition to several entry-level and mid-career roles.-Supporting fundraising strategy, messaging, and material creation, resulting in several million dollars in new donations from three new funders.-Informing product development and site rebrand, connecting 9,000 site users to equity-focused giving opportunities.
